Information on your stay at Morning Glory

There are plenty of FREE resort facilities to keep the young and the young at heart amused! We have a solar heated “walk-in” resort swimming pool (perfect for the toddlers), a plexipave full size tennis court (racquets & balls available), a 2 hole golf course and 6 hole mini golf course (clubs & balls available) a children’s playground with sun shades, a games room with video games (coin operated), table tennis table, tv, pool table (coin operated), sports oval and walking tracks. We have our own boat ramp. Our jetty is just perfect for casting a line and maybe hooking a cod for dinner! Fire drums are also available.

Our kiosk is open daily for your convenience where you can purchase fuel, ice, wood, gas, milk, bread, ice creams and any of those items you may have forgotten to pack.

Below is a full list of all other information we think you may need to know prior to your arrival including a directions map and a map of our resort. We feel it is important to provide this information to you to ensure your stay with us is thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing. We look forward to meeting you upon arrival here with us on the banks of the beautiful Murray River at Morning Glory River Resort.

Getting There

FROM ECHUCA: Follow the main street of Moama toward Deniliquin – this becomes the COBB HWY. Travel for 16kms and then turn right onto the BARMAH/SHEPPARTON ROAD. Travel toward Barmah for 11kms and on the big sweeping bend where the road cuts through the sandhill there is a large MORNING GLORY RIVER RESORT sign on top of our mailbox. Turn right onto GILMOUR ROAD (gravel road) and travel 7kms down to the kiosk/reception.

FROM SHEPPARTON: Follow the GOULBURN VALLEY HWY North through Shepparton toward Numurkah then veer left onto the NATHALIA/BARMAH ROAD. Travel for 38kms, cross the MURRAY VALLEY HWY and continue onto Barmah. Cross the bridge at Barmah, continue 3kms then turn left onto GILMOUR ROAD (gravel road). Travel 7kms down to kiosk/reception.

WE DO NOT RECOMMEND USING “GOOGLE MAPS” OR A GPS TO FIND US AS YOU WILL MOST LIKELY END UP ON THE VICTORIAN SIDE OF THE RIVER LOOKING ACROSS AT THE RESORT!
